A Brief History of 3 Doors Down

Formed in Mississippi in the mid-1990s by guitarist Matt Roberts, bassist Todd Harrell, and drummer/vocalist Brad Arnold, 3 Doors Down broke onto the national music scene in 2000 with their debut album The Better Life. The record was a surprise commercial smash, selling over six million copies and sending the songs Kryptonite and Loser to the top of the charts. Their follow up albums Away From the Sun, Another 700 Miles and Seventeen Days all went platinum and spawned the hits, Here Without you, Let Me Go and Behind Those Eyes. Their fourth record, the self-titled 3 Doors Down, debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, proving that 3 Doors Down is hotter than ever.

Where to Find 3 Doors Down Tabs

Guitarists and assist can find many tabs for 3 Doors Down on the Internet. Different sites compile and present their tabs in different ways. Guitar

• Ultimate Guitar: Ultimate Guitar is one of the oldest and best know guitar tab sites on the Internet. Their 3 Doors down section is fairly comprehensive. The songs Be Like That, By My Side, Changes, Duck and Run and more can be found here. Multiple versions exist for most songs, so check out several of them to see which ones are the most accurate or best reflect your playing level.
• X Guitar: X Guitar has a unique approach to how their site is organized and presented. The site first lists the albums from the band. It then lists the total number of tracks on the album followed by the number of songs that have been tabbed. For example, Seventeen Days has twelve tracks, and X Guitar has ten of them tabbed for the guitar.
• Guitar Board: Guitar Board is arranged similarly to Ultimate Guitar in that users post multiple versions of each song. Players then rate the versions, so those visiting the site can get assistance on which versions are the best. Songs available on this site include Kryptonite, Loser, Smack and more.
• Guitar Masta: Another great tab site is Guitar Masta. This site has one of the nicest interfaces on the Internet. The Top 10 3 Doors Down song tabs are listed in the top of the home page. This list includes the hits It's Not My Time, I Feel You, Landing in London, So I Need You and more.

Bass

Not wanting to leave the assist out, the following sites have 3 Doors Down Tabs for the bass.

One technique you could use in this situation is to try to find a simple version of the song to get you started.
