The Ibanez Guitars Line
Ibanez guitars have been around for over one hundred years. The company initially began as an importer of guitars from Spain, but the era of Ibanez guitars as we know it today began in the 1950s when the company produced replicas of European and American guitars. Today, Ibanez is one of the most enduring Japanese guitar companies in the world and produces some truly beautiful instruments.
The first thing you notice about the SZR520 is the missing tailpiece. After they pass over the bridge, the strings on this beautiful guitar disappear into the flame body in an uneven pattern creating a very unique look. The one-piece mahogany neck and solid mahogany body create a fat, epic tone that's as classic as the guitar's stylings.
Another stunning Ibanez guitar is the AW140QMECE. This guitar has a solid Engelmann Spruce top for crisp presence and solid maple backs and sides for a warm, deep tone. A Fishman Sonicore pickup allows you to plug in and rock, and the Grover tuners will keep your pitch accurate. However, the coolest detail of this model is the abalone "Vine of Life" inlay that runs the length of the neck.
Ibanez XPT700 Xiphos
The Ibanez XPT700 Xiphos features a truly remarkable finish. The Red Chameleon changes hues as the guitar is moved and creates a fluid, never constant color pattern. The angular body design and shark tooth inlays add to the wild feel, and the DiMarzio Activator pickups mean this guitar sounds as untamed as it looks.
The AC30NT is the flagship model of the Artwood series of acoustic guitars by Ibanez. These traditional accoustics have a mahogany neck, back and sides as well as a solid Engelmann spruce top. An abalone rosette adds a dignified detail to this already stunning guitar.
Ibanez has been making the ART series for over thirty years providing guitar players an affordable alternative in a solid body, double-humbucker guitar. Now featuring a cutaway body design and active pickups, the ART is more modern than ever.
Ibanez AEL20EVV AE
The AEL series are the largest bodied acoustic guitars Ibanez makes. This big beauty has great projection and warm, natural tones that are appropriate for many styles of music. The Fishman Sonicore pickup sounds great plugged in, and the vintage violin high gloss finish looks fantastic.
Ibanez Prestige RG1550M
When many people think of an Ibanez guitar, the Prestige RG1550M is what comes to mind. This is a rock and roll machine that looks as cool today as it did when it was debuted in 1987. The maple fretboard and jumbo frets on the thin Wizard neck mean you can play screaming fast licks. The two humbuckers and single coil pickups allow for an almost infinite number of sonic possibilities.
