Kelly Roper doesn't remember a time when she wasn't in love with music. She began singing along with the radio from the time she could talk, and took up the piano in junior high. She discovered a particular love of guitar in her teen years and took her first lessons at her local high school. Today, her tastes run mainly to alternative rock, but she has a high appreciation for the talent it takes to play other styles, especially classical and bluegrass.
